


Robert Tota
Opera Las Vegas
Robert Tota, baritone, earned a Computer A.S. Degree from San Diego City College and a Music B.A. Degree from San Diego State University. He has received several awards and scholarships that have granted him graduate studies in Verona, Italy, at the Music Academy of the West and the Opera School of Chicago.
He has performed with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the San Diego Opera, the San Diego Pops Symphony, the 3M Orchestra of Minneapolis, Nevada Opera Theatre, Opera Las Vegas and the Nevada Symphony. Mr. Tota’s operatic repertoire include roles in Rigoletto, Tosca, Aida, Carmen, La Traviata, The Rake’s Progress, Il Tabaro, Don Pasquale, Cosi Fan Tutte, Un Ballo in Maschera, Cavalleria Rusticana, and Les Contes d’Hoffman.
He has also been a Big Band singer in the South, a five year resident church soloist in La Jolla, CA, a soloist in several Oratorios and sang the National Anthem in several stadium events, including a season opener for the San Diego Padres baseball team.
He has also appeared at the Four Queens and the Venetian hotel/casinos and other venues in Las Vegas. He is the co-founder of the Cultural Arts Society Theater of Las Vegas, co-owner of A&T Enterprises, and entertains with his “Memorable Melodies” one-man show.
